Blue Hair, Don’t Care is a phenomenal blend of blue AND green-leaning teal. To achieve this super tonal beauty, each skein of yarn is fully immersed and dyed in this scrumptious blue green color and then another batch of dye stock is mixed and pour randomly over the yarn. Finally, black speckles are liberally sprinkled over each skein to finish off the this tropical beach-y wonder. Blue Hair, Don’t care was named in honor of my peekaboo blue hair, though not intentionally! I set out to create the perfect tropical teal blue and not until after this colorway was born did I realize that it was a perfect match to my blue streak. This blue streak is a source of wonder for my children’s classmates. Each year, a few brave children work up the courage to ask me why my hair is blue. When I tell them it just grows that way, the look of awe on their face is priceless…until I tell them that I’m just kidding and I paint it with special hair paint (that they should never attempt to do unless their parents say it’s ok). Blue Hair, Don’t care is an amazing stand alone color for anything that you’re working up but it’s also fantastic as a pop of color in your colorwork projects.
